Football vs. Fuquay-VarinaHomecoming
Sept. 23, 2005
Homecoming started out with a
pep rally at school. Then comes the
football game vs. Fuquay-Varina High School. The game began with the
traditional march to the field, although this time it was part of the
homecoming parade.
During half time, the band performed the third movement of the show. This
was the first time they performed in uniform, and they looked great! Then
they got into the horn arc and played, "You'll be in my Heart" while the
homecoming court was announced and the homecoming queen crowned.
During the game, they played pep tunes. After the game, they played the
whole show to a crowd of band parents, Jag Club parents, and a number of
others who stayed to watch. They received thunderous applause for their
efforts! It was a long day, and a great warmup for the competition tomorrow. For best results, maximize your browser's window. Click on a thumbnail to see the picture enlarged
