Central Cabarrus High School, Concord, NC

The day started with a rehearsal, followed by a long trip on the buses. Arriving at CCHS, the weather looked threatening and it started to rain. Fortunately, it blew through before we began warming up, and the weather held for the competition. We marched first in the Class AAAA, followed by South Mecklenburg HS, C.E. Jordan HS, and Concord HS. After our performance, we sat in the stands and watched the remaining bands in the class perform.

We took home the following awards:

  • 1st place Music Performance
  • 2nd place Visual Performance
  • 2nd place Visual Effect
  • 2nd place Percussion
  • 2nd place Class AAAA
  • Superior rating
