Marching Band Camp - Day 1

Sunday July 31, 2005

The first day of band camp is always fun! After the parents dropped their students off, the band parents provided a Subway dinner, and the students got right to work on learning the music. Fortunately the rain was barely a mist as the evening session started on the field, and it quickly cleared to be a very nice night. The students started learning the drill out on the field, then at dark, they moved to the Student Activity Center (SAC) to work on learning the music. After the evening rehearsal ended, the students were treated to ice cream sundaes, then returned to the dorms for a good night's sleep.
