This year we will again be selling 2 coupon books: the Citipass Books and Enjoy the City books. 

  • The CitiPass books sell for $25.00 -- an increase over last year, but the books are bigger than ever with more coupons and more merchants. The CitiPass website has a list of merchants.
  • The Enjoy the City books sell for $20. The Enjoy the City website has a list of merchants.

The sale starts August 11th and will last approximately 1 month. Marching band students are given a sample of each book along with an envelope to track their sales. Note that this year, the Enjoy the City books are a held up in a printing situation and will be distributed Tuesday, August 18.  You may sell these books, or you may use them as samples to take orders. You may also check out more books to sell. Either bring back money for each book sold, or return the unsold books (including the initial sample book) in new condition.

Books are available from  Linda Ingle or Isabel Ferrall at the end of marching band rehearsals. Concert and Symphonic Band students can contact us at couponbooks @ adhsband.com and we will get a books to you. The classes will have a chance to sell these, too, but you can contact the committee chairs if you'd like to get an early start on selling books -- particularly those of you going to Nationals and would like to earn money towards the trip.

Books can be paid for at any time during the sale. Make checks payable to Athens Drive Band Boosters, and ensure your student's name is on the check. To better keep track of your funds, it's best to pay by check, with your child’s name written on the check.  Checks with names on them are easier on your volunteer sales coordinator and volunteer treasurers!  If you sell some at work or to neighbors, please keep the cash and write a check.  Checks can be given to Linda Ingle/Isabel Ferrall at rehearsals.

 

Enjoy the City Coupon Books

the Enjoy the City information is from last year and will be updated shortly....Each book sold credits $9 to your band account and $1 to the general fund. Incentives are provided by Enjoy the City:

  • A Free Book For 5 Books Sold!
  • $10 Target gift card for every 10 books sold!

 

** You must fill out a form in order to receive gift cards.  You can find the form in your packet.

Citipass Coupon Books

Each book sold credits $9 to your band account, with $1 going to the general band fund. Should the entire band sell 300 or more books, the profit level moves to $11 per book to your account and $1.50 to the general fund. Incentives are provided by CitiPass® .

  • The first 3 people to turn in the money for 10 sold books receive a $10 gift certificate to Moe’s Southwest Grill.
  • Buy 5, get 1 FREE! For every 5 books a family sells, they earn a FREE CitiPass® book.
  • The family that sells the most CitiPass® books will receive a $30 gift certificate to any merchant in the Greater Raleigh CitiPass® Book. The family that sells the second most number of CitiPass® books will receive a $20 gift certificate.

Prizes and free books are given out at the end of the sale.
